Student Absence and Late Arrivals

Please inform CHILD if your student will be absent or arriving late. If calling during nonbusiness hours, please leave a message with your students full name and details about their absence.

Missing or Rescheduling Clinic Appointments

If you need to reschedule a Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or Mental Health appointment, please contact CHILD before 8:00 AM on the day of the scheduled appointment so that you will not be charged for services.

Inclement Weather and Emergency Closures

CHILD will assess inclement weather situations based on city and district recommendations. In the event of a closure, CHILD will inform parents and districts as soon as possible. If it should snow before school, please check our website or schoolreport.com for closure or late-start information. We will make all efforts to have information posted by 7:30 AM.
