To request a packet of information or to ask that we call you to discuss placing a child at Children's Institute, click here. Parent Inquiry She will review any student evaluations and records. If both the parent and the Program Director believe that one of Children's Institute's schools is a suitable match for the student, a start date will be arranged. School District Placement When a school district considers placing a student, a district representative contacts CHILD's Program Director to discuss the possible placement. If after reviewing all available information about the student, it is determined that Children's Institute is the appropriate placement and there is an opening, his or her parents are invited to visit the school. If everyone is in agreement concerning the placement, a meeting is scheduled to develop or amend the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Behavior Plan, after which enrollment may begin.
