The Enrollment Process

To request a packet of information or to ask that we call you to discuss placing a child at Children's Institute, click here. Parent Inquiry CHILD staff will review student evaluations and records to determine if Children's Institute is a suitable match for the student. When an agreement is reached, parents sign a contract, and a meeting is scheduled to develop an Individual Service Plan (simiar to an IEP) for the student. School District Placement A school district representative contacts CHILD's Program Director to discuss the possible placement of a student. Children's Institute reviews student evaluations and records to determine if the placement is appropriate. Parents are then invited to tour the school and a meeting is scheduled to develop or amend the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Behavior Plan, after which enrollment may begin. To inquire about enrollment, refer a student, or schedule a tour, call (206) 232-8680 ext. 204 or click here to email our Director of Advancement. |
