  • CHILD provides two therapeutic year-round day schools — Child School (ages 3-12) and New Heights School (ages 12-18), for students from 18 Puget Sound school districts.

  • CHILD is a national resource for families of special-needs children. Parents have relocated from New Mexico, Illinois, New Jersey, Virginia, and Alabama to enroll their children in our programs.
  • CHILD maintains a student to teacher ratio that is never more, and often less that 5:1 in a classroom.
  • 70% of CHILD students are placed by up to 18 local school districts. Parents place the other 30% of our students.
  • CHILD offers on-site occupational and speech therapy, individual, group and family counseling.
  • CHILD is a recipient of the KCTS Golden Apple Award for "Excellence in Education".
  • CHILD offers a parent and professional training program.
