The generosity of CHILD's supporters is extraordinary, allowing us to provide scholarships to needy students, purchase equipment, upgrade our building, hire exceptional teachers and support staff, and many special projects that help our students to achieve success.   Thank you.

There are several ways to make a gift to CHILD:

  1. You can designate your United Way, Microsoft Campaign, or Federated Giving Campaign donation to Children's Institute for Learning Differences.   Just write in "Children's Institute for Learning Differences" in the space provided for your designation.

  2. One-time or multiple year gifts in any amount can be made directly to CHILD, either securely through our website by clicking here, or by mail to:

    Children’s Institute
    4030 86th Ave SE
    Mercer Island, WA  98040

  3. Gifts of Goods or Property --stocks, real estate, artwork, or other items that have increased in value since you acquired them, can be donated to us.  You can then take a tax deduction for the appreciated value of the donated item, instead of the lower purchase price, without having to pay the capital gains taxes that would accrue if the item was sold first, then the money donated.

  4. Matching Gifts--Many employers offer matching gift programs that match their employee's charitable contributions or time spent volunteering for a charity.  Check with your employer to see if your generous gift can be instantly doubled!
